A Senior Drive, Summerville man was so upset with work that the City of Summerville had done on the property in front of his house.

Jimmy Adams called police to come to his property complaining about the city’s work.  According to the report from the Summerville Police Department, Adams said that the city had got over on his property and off of the city right-of-way.

The police officer said that he verified with City of Summerville Public Works Supervisor Terry Tinney, that the city did not get on Mr. Adams’ property and added in the report that he looked at the work the city had conducted and that the city had “new gravel, neatly placed” on Mr. Adams’ property.

Mr. Adams said that he wanted a copy of the police report to give to his attorney.

* An earlier version of this story indicated work was done off the city right of way. WZQZ spoke with the Summerville Police Department and confirmed the work was done on the city’s right of way.
