A Summerville man’s handgun was possibly stolen some time during October or November.

The Back Berryton Rd. man, unnamed in police reports from the sheriff’s office, “reported that he noticed that his handgun was missing from his residence”, saying that it was in neither his holster nor box, and that he was confident that it was in his house before it was taken.

The man spoke with the county’s investigator about individuals who may have had access to the gun. The case remains active.
