A thirty-year-old James Street, Summerville man was arrested last week after he got into a fist fight with a Trion man and then attempted to get the victim to lie to police.

Summerville Police were called to an auto shop on Bellah Avenue around 10:22 AM on December 21st.  When officers arrived they found the victim who had been punched in the jaw and forehead.  Officers said that the victim and swelling and lacerations from the punches.

While on the scene, Jonathan England tried to get the victim to lie about the altercation.

England was arrested and taken to the Chattooga County Jail.
