Summerville Police were dispatched to a domestic dispute on Monday morning that started as a verbal dispute but ended with property damage.

According to police, when they arrived on the scene at a house on Kelly Street, they spoke with the complainant who said that he and his girlfriend got into an argument over cigarettes.  The girlfriend, identified as twenty-two-year-old Brittany Hope Ezell, stepped out onto the porch.  The complainant said that he closed the door because there were children inside that he didn’t want to go outside.

At that point, Ms. Ezell is accused of striking the living room window with a chair and breaking the glass in the window.  The woman left the scene before police arrived.

Summerville Police say that they have taken out a warrant against Ezell in connection with the incident.
