On Tuesday, the Summerville Police Department released a report about a drug arrest that was made earlier this month.

According to the report, police along with agents from the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force went to a home on Scoggins Street because of reports of drug activity.  Law enforcement had reports of a woman who had been involved in drug activity in the past.  Officers were met at the door by a man who said that the suspect was inside the residence.  After speaking with the suspect and being given consent to search, officers found a glass pipe and suspected methamphetamine.

Fifty-nine-year-old Eva McGraw was arrested and while waiting to be processed into the jail, experienced a medical episode.  McGraw was then transported by EMS to a Rome hospital.  Law enforcement took out additional drug-related warrants against McGraw the next day.
