On Wednesday of this week, Summerville Police Officers responded to a domestic disturbance call where officers discovered that 36-year-old Seth Jordan Lindsay had assaulted a female leaving her with visible injuries and then fled the scene. Officers obtained an arrest warrant for Battery against Lindsay.

On Thursday, in an attempt to serve the warrant law enforcement officers traveled to Lindsay’s residence on University Circle where he was located and placed under arrest.
During Lindsay’s arrest, evidence of an indoor marijuana grow operation was observed at his residence. Upon serving a search warrant and searching the entire residence Summerville Police Officers and members of the LMJC Drug Task Force located and seized an indoor grow operation where both marijuana and “magic mushrooms” were being grown. “Magic Mushrooms” are illegal hallucinogens and can cause users to have extreme hallucinations and the inability to discern fantasy from reality.
In addition to the indoor grow operation, officers located LSD, THC Wax, a significant quantity of marijuana and mushrooms, as well as several firearms and a firearm silencer.
In addition to the misdemeanor battery warrant, Lindsay was also charged with:
• Manufacture of Marijuana
• Possession of over 1 Ounce of Marijuana
• Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
• Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute within 1000 ft of a Park
• Manufacturing a Controlled Substance (Psilocybin/Psilocin Mushrooms)
• Possession of Schedule I Drug (Psilocybin/Psilocin Mushrooms) with Intent to Distribute
• Possession of Schedule I Drug (Psilocybin/Psilocin Mushrooms) with Intent to Distribute within 1000 ft of a Park
• Possession of THC Wax (Schedule I)
• Possession of THC Wax (Schedule I) w/ Intent to Distribute
• Possession of THC Wax (Schedule I) w/ Intent to Distribute within 1000 ft of a Park
• Possession of LSD (Schedule I)
• Unlawful Possession of Firearm or Weapon
• Possession of Firearm during the Commission of a Crime
• Possession of Drug Related Objects
According to Summerville Police Detective Hutchins, the investigation is still ongoing and additional suspects may be charged from the clandestine grow operation.
