Summerville Police were called to a Marvin Avenue apartment on Friday of last week regarding a complaint of a woman harassing a man with special needs.

The complainant told police that another woman in the same apartment complex was harassing her son.  The complainant said that the woman was sending text messages and coming over to the complainant’s apartment, saying that she was in love with the special needs man.   Police talked with the man who said that he wanted to be left alone.

Police were unable to make contact with the woman who had been sending the harassing messages, but promised to follow up and tell the woman to quit contacting the complainant and her son.
