Summerville Police responded to a 911 call about two people involved in a domestic dispute on Sunday on Woodland Avenue, and ended up arresting one of the subjects for drug possession.

According to a report released on Thursday, when police arrived on the scene they located the two subjects in a vehicle near where the domestic disturbance took place.  Officers asked the couple about the domestic and the two said that there had been and “argument” and it was just a “misunderstanding” and that they were trying to leave the premises.

The two were acting very nervous which lead officers to believe that they might be under the influence of a stimulant.  Officers asked for consent to search and found a bag with five glass pipes and suspected methamphetamine and a small amount of marijuana.

Thirty-two-year-old Korri Richard Kennedy said that the drugs were his.  As officers were arresting Kennedy, they asked if he had any other drugs on his person.  Kennedy said he had drugs in his socks.  Officers found pills in one sock and suspected methamphetamine in his other sock.

Kennedy was booked into the Chattooga County Jail on possession of methamphetamine charges.
