Summerville Police responded to a call at Truist Bank on Highway 48 last week after a customer exhibited irate behavior towards a bank teller.

According to a report from the Summerville Police Department, the customer came to the drive thru and was complaining about a problem with his online bank account.  A bank employee got the man to come inside to her office to help him work out the problem.

The teller told police when she asked for the man’s license, he slammed his driver’s license on her desk and began to scream and use inappropriate language.  The complainant then asked the man to leave the premises.

Truist Bank asked that a report be placed on file concerning the incident.
