Summerville city officials received word on Friday that the Low Springs water supply has tested free of contaminants. City of Summerville water customers served by Low Springs can use their water without any worries, according to City Manager Janice Galloway. A map of the areas served by Low Springs is on display at Summerville City Hall.
Public works director Terry Tinnie told WZQZ News that all water customers past the Chattooga River bridge on Highway 100 are included in the area. Other areas that are served by Low Springs include the Wayside Community and areas north of Memorial Drive in Summerville.
City Manager Janice Galloway said that a list of streets and roads that are served by Low Springs will be released early next week.
Those customers not included in the Low Springs service area are still covered by the water advisory that was issued earlier this year.

The map is on display at the City of Summerville. They promised a list of streets and roads where the water is supplied from Low Springs the first of next week. They did not have a digital copy of the map available to give us on Friday.
