The Highway 27 Yard sale will be held once again this year in August.  This year, the dates are August 1-3, and the City of Summerville is currently selling vendor and yard sale spaces at Dowdy Park in downtown Summerville.  Dowdy Park gets visitors from all over during the annual event.  The cost is just $5 per spot – per day and vendor hours will be from daylight until 7 PM.  Spaces will be assigned.  Forms are available at Summerville City Hall on Georgia Avenue, across from Summerville First Baptist Church.  If you need more information, contact Susan Locklear with Summerville Main Street at 706-859-0900 – Extension 1337.
