The City of Summerville will hold its annual “Spring Clean-up” beginning Monday, April 11, 2011 through Friday, April 15, 2011.  Items to be picked up should be placed adjacent to or at the road right-of-way (garbage pick-up area).  Please separate brush and limbs from any residential garbage.  Trees, limbs, stumps and logs cut by Commercial Tree Services will not be picked up.

Items that are unacceptable at the Chattooga County Transfer Station will not be picked up by the City.   These items are as follows:batteries, paint cans, tires, oil, fuel, asbestos, shingles, automobiles, boats, waste from contractors, building materials waste or items from a demolished structure.
