A Summerville Teen reported  a theft by deception last week when a payment for a watch was returned. Last week Officers responded to a call about a theft. Britton Croft reported that he had placed an Apple Watch for sale online. He had sold it to a Mackensey Phillips. Phillips was listed as out of town, so Croft had to mail the watch. The payment was sent and the watch mailed. Croft stated that he paid $80 in shipping and had to drive to Dalton to mail the watch to California. The payment was received and after mailing the watch, the user canceled the payment. FedEx could not stop the shipment. The watch has not been mailed back. Croft states that he has lost $450.
