The City of Summerville will hold a second public hearing regarding Sunday alcohol sales on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 5:00 pm at the Summerville City Hall.
The council will read and consider the adoption of an ordinance to “allow for Sunday package sales of malt beverages and wine; to authorize a referendum; to provide for an effective date; and to provide for other lawful purposes [italics added]”.
At the meeting, council will also read and consider the adoption of an ordinance to “allow for Sunday sales of alcoholic beverages by the drink; to authorize a referendum; to provide for an adoption and effective date; and to provide for other lawful purposes [italics added]”.
