A Chattooga County woman was arrested this week in Floyd County and is accused of giving a false name at the time of her arrest.
Floyd County Police say that twenty-four-year-old Aquia Quanteria Nelson of Summerville was arrested at the intersection of Broad and Turner McCall Blvd in Rome after she was found to be in possession of marijuana. Officers added that she also gave police a fake name while being questioned.
After arriving at the jail Nelson allegedly made things worse when she signed documents with her fake name.
Nelson is charged with possession of marijuana, giving false information to police and false statements and writings.
