A Summerville woman was arrested earlier this month after a domestic dispute, reportedly sparked by a request to help clean a residence, escalated into a physical altercation. The incident, which occurred on August 11, 2025, led to charges of disorderly conduct, according to an incident report released by Summerville Police this week.

Summerville Police officers were dispatched to a Houston London Drive address in reference to a verbal domestic incident. Upon arrival, officers observed 29-year-old Danyeil Andre Fields being “loud and boisterous, disturbing the peace and tranquility of the neighborhood.”

Authorities spoke with the homeowner, identified as the grandmother of those living at the address. She stated that she had asked Danyeil to help her clean the house. When she arrived at the residence, she reportedly made a comment to other family members present, saying, “There are grown adults living there and don’t want to help out.” This comment quickly escalated into a verbal argument among family members.

The situation reportedly turned physical. Officers spoke with another family member, identified as a victim in the report, who displayed visible marks on her left eye. The victim alleged that Danyeil Fields had struck her first. However, Danyeil Fields countered, stating that the victim had initiated the physical contact.

A witness at the scene supported the victim’s account, stating that Danyeil Fields struck the victim.

Based on the observations and witness statements, officers placed Danyeil Andre Fields under arrest for Disorderly Conduct. She was subsequently transported to the Chattooga County Jail without further incident.
