A Summerville woman was arrested following a physical domestic disturbance reported on Scoggins Street. Police charged 23-year-old Anastasia Reynolds with Disorderly Conduct after multiple witnesses identified her as the aggressor in an altercation with another female resident.

The incident occurred on October 13, 2025, at approximately 7:10 p.m., after City Police units were dispatched to 271 Scoggins Street regarding a fight involving two females and a male subject.

According to the official incident report filed by Officer Pledger (Case Number: 2025100019), officers quickly confirmed the location of the disturbance at Apartment 8.

Police first made contact with Mr. Johnny Stanley, who was standing in the entryway, and Ms. Harley Harris, who was seated in a vehicle nearby. Mr. Stanley and Ms. Harris informed officers that Ms. Harris had returned home from work and was followed by Ms. Reynolds.

The subjects alleged that Ms. Reynolds initiated a physical altercation with Ms. Harris immediately upon their arrival at the residence. Ms. Reynolds reportedly fled the scene before law enforcement arrived but was located shortly thereafter by Sgt. Wilson at the North End Circle K Gas Station.

Firearm Secured Before Police Arrival

The report noted that during the initial confrontation, a firearm was visible, but subjects confirmed it was never used and had been secured prior to police arrival. For safety, responding officers unloaded the weapon in the presence of law enforcement and with the owner’s consent.

While Ms. Harris did not report any injuries and had no visible marks from the altercation, five written witness statements were collected at the scene. All five statements corroborated the accounts of Ms. Harris and Mr. Stanley, identifying Ms. Reynolds as the primary aggressor in the physical dispute.

Based on the evidence and witness testimony, Ms. Anastasia Reynolds was placed under arrest. She was charged with Disorderly Conduct under City Ordinance.

Sgt. Wilson transported Ms. Reynolds to the Chattooga County Jail without incident. All units cleared the scene and returned to service after the arrest.
