A thirty-two-year-old Summerville woman was arrested by Summerville Police on drug charges after a traffic stop near Economy Pharmacy on February 19th.  According to a report released on Friday of last week, Amber Dawn Bryant was the passenger in the vehicle that was pulled over.  While speaking to the driver of the vehicle, the officer noticed signs of impairment in Bryant and asked the driver for consent to search the vehicle.  Inside, the officers found a pocketbook with suspected methamphetamine and drug-related objects.  Bryant said that the pocketbook was in her possession, but she was returning it to someone else.  Bryant was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug related objects and was booked into the Chattooga County Jail.
