Summerville Police received a report about a vehicle that was missing and reported to be out-of-state.

On Tuesday, an officer spoke with the complainant who said that she had sold a 2002 Cadillac Escalade  to her cousin.  The family member had given the woman $1,000 as a down payment on the agreed price of $5,000.  The woman told the responding officer that she had not seen or heard from her cousin since.

The complainant called police when she received information that her vehicle is now in Pennsylvania.  The woman said she did not know what town or county in Pennsylvania the Cadillac was in.

The case has been turned over to an investigator.
