An intoxicated Summerville woman was arrested on Sunday evening after threatening a man with a shovel.

Summerville Police responded to a call on Houston London Drive shortly before 7 PM on Sunday after a 911 call was made about a woman threatening a man and disturbing the peace.  When officers arrived on the scene they talked to witnesses that said thirty-one-year-old Kyla Tiara Johnson was behaving in a disorderly fashion.  Police said that witnesses told them that Johnson had been arguing with a man and picked up the shovel and tried to hit him with it.  Johnson admitted to police that she had swung that shovel at the man.

Johnson was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication and was booked into the Chattooga County Jail.
