Catoosa County Major Gary Sisk said Sunday afternoon that at 2PM, traffic in Ringgold became so heavy from onlookers public works vehicles could not remove debris, electric contractors could not complete their work, and emergency personnel had difficulty responding to needs. Sisk said that the Sheriff’s Department had to limit traffic in Ringgold. ‘Therefore the checkpoints had to be put back in place to clear the congestion within the city and limit access."
