If you’re looking for something to do today, there are several afternoon events happening in and around Chattooga County.

 

The Trains & Tracks Expo continues today at the historic Summerville Depot in downtown Summerville.  The event is sponsored by Summerville Main Street.  Admission to the expo is free.  A highlight for the event will be the Chattanooga Modular Modeler Train exhibit.  The expo is happening from 11 AM – 3 PM.

The Chattooga Historical Society is holding their Fall quarterly meeting today at the historic Alpine Community Church on Highway 337 just south of Menlo.  The group will have a dinner at the fellowship hall, located directly across the road from the church and then the meeting will get underway between 2:15 – 2:30 PM.  Admission is free.

The Wings over North Georgia Air Show continues today at Rome’s Richard B. Russell Regional Airport. Opening ceremonies today are at noon and air shows will be taking place until 5 PM. General admission is $30 with a family- pack of tickets costing $99.
