Two Catoosa County attorneys are set to face off in a runoff election December 2nd.  From a field of five candidates in the general election, voters did not give one single candidate a 50% majority required by Georgia Law to win the election.

The top vote getter in the general election was Brian House of Catoosa County.  House has a law practice in Catoosa County and graduated from the University of Tennessee law school.  He is married to Jama and they have a daughter Brianna.  They attend Peavine Baptist Church in Rock Spring, Georgia.  House received 16,190 votes in the race for Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Superior Court Judge. 

Larry Stagg came in second in the race with 9,343 votes.  Stagg practices law at the firm of Brandy and Stagg in Catoosa County.  He recieved his law degree from the University of Georgia and attends Woodstation United Methodist Church in the Woodstation Community of Catoosa County.  Stagg and his wife Brandi have three children.

The two men are seeking to fill the position of retiring Superior Court Judge Ralph Hill, Jr.
