Summerville Police continue to investigate the recent armed hold up occurring on Hawkins Drive.

On January 15th two individuals wearing masks entered the store demanding money, with one of the two firing off a single round, hitting the store clerk in the abdomen.

It’s unclear how much, if any money was actually taken from the scene; according to police, the pair did get away with cigarettes and other items from the store.

The clerk reportedly remains in critical but stable condition.
