According to Sheriff Mark Schrader, the suspect from Tuesday’s foot chase is now in custody.
The Sheriffs office received information on Wednesday that the male suspect was back in the Mountain View area where he was last seen on Tuesday. Deputies placed several units around the area. One unit spotted the suspect and  attempted to stop him. The suspect failed to pull over and then stopped in the middle of the road and fled on foot. After another foot chase, Lavon Sims was captured and placed under arrest. Sims was wanted on a felony probation violation.
