A suspected drug dealer was arrested while her car was parked on Campbell Avenue in LaFayette; an area noted by Police as an active drug selling spot in recent weeks.
When the car door was opened, officers detected the smell of burning marijuana. A search turned up a glass pipe and baggies that tested positive for meth. In another baggie, they found over 70 Xanax pills… along with digital scales and over $500 in cash.
Fifty-six-year-old Frances Annette Lewis of LaFayette was charged with possession with intent to resell meth and a schedule four controlled substance.
