Wednesday was the deadline for government agencies across the state to submit their requests for funding from the Georgia Department of Transportation.  The "T-SPLOST" project list for Chattooga County included requests for road striping 75 miles of county roads and a red light at the Mountain View intersection on Highway 27 north of Trion.  Also, the county requested $3.1 million for a new bridge on Taliaferro Springs Road over the Chattooga River.
