A Jamestown Road, Menlo teenager was charged with DUI after a traffic stop in Summerville on Thursday. Summerville Police say that the squatted truck the teenager was driving did not have an illuminated tag light, which is what prompted the traffic stop.

The teen driver smelled of alcohol, and both he and the passenger admitted to the officer that they had been drinking.

Eighteen-year-old Lane Forrest Brown was charged with DUI, underage possession of alcohol, tail light required and unlawful alteration of suspension system.  A passenger, eighteen-year-old Albert Eugene Keith, was charged with underage possession of alcohol.
