Veterans Invited To Monthly Coffee And Company Gathering At Chattooga Public Library

Military veterans from across Chattooga County are invited to attend the monthly Veteran’s Coffee & Company gathering on Tuesday, August 11, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Chattooga Public Library, located at 360 Farrar Drive in Summerville.

The event is hosted by Transitions Hospice Care in partnership with the Chattooga Public Library and provides veterans with an opportunity to enjoy coffee, pastries, camaraderie and conversation in a welcoming environment. Organizers say the monthly gathering gives veterans a place to share stories, connect with fellow service members and build friendships within the community.

Veteran’s Coffee & Company is held on the second Tuesday of each month, and all veterans are welcome to attend.

Chattooga Public Library Announces 2026 Royal Ball Dates, Tickets On Sale February 3

The Chattooga Public Library has announced its annual Royal Ball, set for March 14th, 20th, and 21st, 2026, with festivities beginning at 5:30 PM each evening. Families are invited to “join the princesses” for food, fun, and dancing.

Tickets go on sale February 3rd during library hours and cost $10, with each ticket admitting one child and one adult. For more information, contact the library at 706-857-2553—and organizers note that no tickets will be sold or reserved by phone.
