Chattooga County residents will once again be able to burn certain yard debris beginning next week as Georgia’s annual summer open-burning ban comes to an end.

Residents across much of Northwest Georgia have less than three weeks remaining under Georgia’s annual summer outdoor burning ban.

An annual outdoor burning ban is now in effect across Chattooga County and much of north and central Georgia.
