Trion Police Chief Chad Spraggins says that Tavern Lane is closed in the Town of Trion. A tree blew down and downed a power line. Georgia Power is supposed to be sending in a crew to take care of the power line but many of their resources are being directed to the Adairsville and Calhoun areas at this time. Spraggins said after the power company crew has taken care of the power line, Trion Public Works crews would clean up the tree. Tavern Lane will be closed until the work can be completed.
