Chattooga County Tax Commissioner Joy Hampton says that she will be doing a Facebook Live event this Thursday for county taxpayers to be able to hear answers to commonly asked questions and she is asking the public to submit questions that she can answer during the live event.

This will be the second time the tax commissioner has used Facebook to talk with the public about topics her office deals with on a daily basis.  Also, the tax commissioner is reminding residents that her office is now closed on Wednesdays and has extended hours Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Hampton said some of the topics she will cover in her Facebook Live event will be: office hours, tax bill preparations and how different vehicles are taxed.
