Chattooga County Tax Commissioner Joy Hampton says that mobile home owners in the county can be expecting to see their 2022 tax bills in the mail any day now.

Any mobile homes in Chattooga County are subject to mobile home tax. It does not matter if it has wheels on or off, tied down, used for storage, homesteaded or not, rented or empty.

The bills can be paid at the Tax Commissioner’s Office or online.

The mobile home tax bills are due April 1, 2022.
