An eighteen-year-old Summerville woman was charged with theft by shoplifting and possession of alcohol by a person under the age of 21 after she was accused of stealing alcoholic beverages from the Circle K store on Commerce Street in Summerville.

Summerville Police say that Breshya Kentasia Christopher stole the beverages while stocking the cooler at the store on New Year’s Day.  Police say that the incident was caught on camera.

Christopher was booked into the Chattooga County Jail on the charges and banned from both Circle K Stores in Summerville.
