The Sock Hops will be in concert tonight at the open air pavilion on East Washington Street in downtown Summerville.  The free concert is part of the City of Summerville’s celebration of Georgia Cities Week.  The Sock Hops perform popular “oldies” music and promise fun songs with lots of memories.  The group has been around for over twenty-five years and bills themselves as “Georgia’s premier oldies entertainment group”.  Their repertoire includes music from The Temptations, The Tokens and The Four Tops.  Bring a chair and enjoy the music tonight in downtown Summerville from 7-9 PM.  The event is sponsored by Summerville Main Street, Truck Town, Jeffersons and The Purple Tiger.
