A Hill Avenue, Summerville man reported the theft of his social security check to Summerville Police.  The complainant told police that he believes that his $300 social security check was stolen from his mailbox sometime between October 14th and October 15th.  The responding officer said that the information would be turned over to an investigator with the Summerville Police Department.
