Summerville Police Officers responded to a call about missing money last week.

On December 1st, Officers were dispatched to an apartment at Summerville Gardens Dr. in regards to a possible theft. Officers met with Mrs. Carla Tidmore, who reported that she was missing $600 in cash from her apartment. Mrs. Tidmore had last seen the money 2 days prior in her dresser drawer. She could not find it and could not think of anyone else in the apartment who knew where she kept it.

Mrs. Tidmore told officers she believed that someone had came in while she had gone to the store just 30 minutes prior and taken the money. The only other person who has a key to the apartment is her son and Mrs. Tidmore doesn’t believe that he took the money or knew where she kept it.

A report was taken and turned over to investigators.
