Deputies say a Lindale man hid in a closet as they were attempting to arrest him on a felony warrant on Sunday night.

According to Floyd County Jail reports, 42-year-jold Jeffery Dwayne Self of a Grove Avenue residence fought with two deputies before his arrest.

When Self came out of the closet and was arrested, deputies found a baggie and pipe with suspected methamphetamine.

He is charged with two counts of felony obstruction, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug related objects and three counts of probation violation. He remains in jail without bond.

A woman in the residence, 43-year-old Angela Self, was charged with two counts of obstruction. She has been released on bond.
