A Mountian View Road man reported to the Chattooga County Sheriff's Department on January 7 that he was receiving threatening text messages. The messages reportedly are from someone unknown and make accusations against the man and threaten to cut his throat. They also threaten to blacken a woman's eye. A suspect was named in the report. He was informed of magistrate court procedures.
