An ongoing investigation into cases of entering autos, burglary and vehicle theft has resulted in charges against three men.

Nineteen-year-old Brandon Chase Blakemore, twenty-year-old Jacob Matthew Adkins and twenty-two-year-old Ryan Nicolas Adkins were jailed in Walker County this week on the felony arson charges, resulting from a vehicle that was burned on Chamberlain Road the day after it was stolen.

The charges were brought by the Walker County Fire Marshal’s office.

The Chickamauga Police Department is also reportedly working on additional charges and Walker County investigators plan to add charges in the case. The events happened March 7th and 8th in Catoosa and Walker Counties and the City of Chickamauga, according to Detective Walt Hensley with the Walker Sheriff’s Department.

He said that more arrest warrants and juvenile complaints are being applied-for due to the string of crimes that occurred.
