There will be three council seats on the Summerville City Council up for grabs in November of this year.  This week, the City of Summerville announced qualifying for seats one, two and three.  Those seats are currently held by Rickey Hughes, Joe Money and Zach Martin.  The candidate qualifying period will be held at Summerville City Hall on August 21-25 from 8:30 AM until 5 PM and on Friday, August 25th from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.  The council seat qualifying fee is $108.  If you have any questions, you may contact Angela White, the Summerville City Clerk at 706-859-0900 extension 1307.
