Three Rome residents were sentenced this week following guilty pleas in two different robbery cases.

Michael Edward Jones and Angela Nicole Smith pled guiltyto robbing the McGowen-Jones Pharmacy in June.  Jones was accused of entering the pharmacy armed with a gun and demanded Oxycodone; after being given a number of the pills he fled in a car with Smith. 

 Both pled guilty to charges of robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a controlled substance.

 They were each sentenced to to a prison term of 15 years, with one to serve.Their prison time will be suspended upon their entry into a drug treatment program.

Crystal Renee Boswell entered a guilty plea to a charge of robbing a man at a motel on Chateau Drive, also back in June.

She was sentenced to a 20 year term, with six to serve after pleading guilty to robbery, obstruction and aggravated assault.
