There was an auto accident in front of the Centre Walmart around 8 AM Wednesday. It involved two pickup trucks and a passenger car.

According to an eyewitness, the car brushed one of the pickups then slammed into the other one, causing major damage to the second truck and the car.

Law enforcement officials said that those involved were only shaken up, and no one was transported for medical treatment.

The Centre Police and Fire Departments and Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office responded. The cause of that accident remains under investigation by the Centre Police Department.
