Last call to register to vote arrives today in Georgia if you’re a first-time voter in the state, or have moved.

The October 5 voter registration deadline is set by state law five Mondays before Election Day. Anyone registered to vote is eligible to cast ballots in person on Election Day, at any early voting location beginning October 12, or by absentee ballot.

So far, more than 1.2 million Georgians have requested absentee ballots for the November 3 election, according to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
