A Calhoun woman was arrested at a convenience store in Summerville for theft, public drunkenness and public indecency after she got out of a vehicle topless and then stole a phone from the store.
According to a report released on Wednesday, Summerville Police say that thirty-four-year-old Megan Jarry was seen on store video surveillance getting out of a vehicle with no shirt or bra on. The woman put on a pullover shirt before walking in the store. When she entered the store, she asked to borrow a phone. She then left the store without returning the phone to the store owner.
Police found the woman a short time later. When asked why she didn’t return the phone, Jarry said that she “just wanted to.” Jarry thought she was in Calhoun and when asked if she had been doing drugs she replied, “I do a lot of drugs every day.”
Jarry was arrested and booked into the Chattooga County Jail.
