The Town of Trion is doing Absentee and Advance Voting for the November 8, 2022, Election until November 4, 2022.

Pursuant to a resolution adopted by the governing authority of the Town of Trion dated June 21, 2022, and said resolution being on file in the minutes of the Town of Trion and,

Pursuant to O.C.G.A. §§ 21-2-540 and 21-2-541, there is hereby called a special election to be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, for the purpose of placing the question as to authorizing the issuance of licenses to sell distilled spirits by the drink for consumption only on the premises were sold if authorized by the voters pursuant to O.C.G.A. §§ 3-4-90 and 3-4-91.

You will vote “YES” or “NO” on the following question.

“Shall the governing authority of Trion, Georgia be authorized to issue licenses to sell distilled spirits by the drink for consumption only on the premises where sold?”

November 8, 2022, polls will open at the Trion Recreation Center at 7 a.m. and remain open until 7 p.m. in accordance with Georgia State Election Law
