The Town of Tion held a called meeting on Monday evening of this week.  The council approved a bid to pave the Trion Town Hall parking lot and the Pavilion at the Track Field parking lot.

The bid for the Town Hall parking lot was $39,860 and the bid for the Pavilion parking lot was $14,600.  The paving will be paid for out of SPLOST Funds.

The council also set the regular monthly meeting dates for November and December.  November’s meeting will be held on Thursday, November 19th and December’s meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 15th.
