A tractor was stolen from the premises of J Bar Corporation north of Trion over the past weekend.  Management at J Bar found the tractor missing on Monday morning when they returned to work and reported the theft to the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Department.  Later in the day on Monday the tractor was found on a logging trail north of Trion.  The theives apparently had driven the tractor from the J Bar property to the place where it was discovered.  The investigation continues into the incident.
