A Ringgold teenager was arrested in the early morning hours of Wednesday after a deputy observed some traffic violations and pulled the car he was driving over.

Eighteen-year-old Wesley Taylor Mason was stopped after a deputy observed the vehicle Mason was driving going above the posted speed limit.  Also, Mason failed to dim his lights to oncoming traffic.

While speaking with the teen, the deputy determined that Mason had been consuming alcohol.  Mason was charged with speeding, failure to dim headlights and driving under the influence of alcohol and was booked into the Chattooga County Jail shortly after 4 AM.
