Chattooga County Public Works Director Lamar Canada told AM 1180 that the Transfer Station, located on Stockade Road in Summerville, will be closed tomorrow, January 1, 2013.  The Transfer Station will be closed due to the fact that the landfill in Calhoun is closed for New Year Day.  The Chattooga County Transfer Station will re-open on Wednesday, January 2, 2013.
